Privacy Policy

What We Collect

Outvo collects account information, authentication identifiers, subscription status, voice-session transcripts, session metadata, learning analytics, writing drafts, revisions and feedback, manually logged input activity, session feedback, settings, and support or billing information you provide. We do not store raw microphone audio after a live session unless a future feature explicitly says otherwise.

How We Use Data

We use your data to provide speaking practice, personalize future conversations, show your input and speaking progress, improve reliability, prevent abuse, process payments, and respond to account or support requests.

Processors

We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting, Gemini Live for realtime voice conversations, OpenRouter-compatible models for post-session analysis and requested writing feedback, Polar.sh for billing, Cloudflare for delivery and security, and optional observability/product analytics providers such as SigNoz and Rybbit. Optional Hindsight memory is used only when enabled in the deployment.

YouTube input library

The input library uses YouTube API Services. Opening a video loads YouTube’s embedded player, which may collect device information and use cookies under the Google Privacy Policy. Use of the library is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Outvo does not connect to your Google account or read your YouTube watch history outside Outvo.

We store your saved videos, favorite channels, resume positions, selected language, timezone and input recorded by the player. Pending playback saves expire after seven days and are removed when you next open the library. Successful saves remove that local queue immediately. You can disable automatic tracking in settings, correct or remove input entries in the tracker, and export your data or delete your account. Video and channel details are refreshed or removed within 30 days; your input totals remain until you remove them.

Optional advertising measurement

When Google Ads measurement is configured, we ask before loading its tag or setting advertising cookies. Accepting lets Google connect ad visits with verified signups, speaking milestones and purchases. We send purchase amounts after discounts, excluding tax. We do not send your email, conversations, writing or input notes, and personalized advertising and enhanced conversions are disabled. You can decline or change your choice using “Ad measurement preferences” below. Your choice is remembered on this browser for up to six months. Google handles its measurement data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Writing practice

We save your writing drafts, revisions, selected language, task and any feedback you request. Asking for AI feedback sends the saved draft and task to our model provider. Drafts are not sent for review merely because you type or save. You can delete individual writing entries or export them from Settings. Deleting an entry removes its text and feedback; text-free review usage remains to enforce limits until account deletion. Anonymous aggregate cost totals contain no user identity or writing.

Account controls

You can export your account data and request account deletion from settings. Deletion removes your Outvo account data and attempts to remove external memory data when that integration is enabled.
