Service

Outvo provides AI-powered voice speaking practice for language learners. The service may generate imperfect, incomplete, or unexpected responses and should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, or emergency advice.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and use the service only where it is legal for you to do so.

Acceptable Use

Do not use Outvo to abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, resell, or attempt unauthorized access to the service or its providers. We may suspend accounts that create security, legal, operational, or payment risk.

Trial and paid plans

Each eligible verified-email account receives one free trial with 20 conversation minutes in total, expiring two days after the first voice session starts. Onboarding uses the same allowance. The trial does not automatically become a paid subscription; continuing requires a separate purchase. There is no ongoing free tier.

When purchases are available, Polar is the merchant of record and authorized reseller. Its Buyer Terms also apply to checkout and payment. Access activates automatically after payment confirmation and reconciliation. Minutes form one pool for the paid billing period, with no daily restriction or rollover. Time while a session is active, including listening and pauses, counts toward usage. Plans are not unlimited; request, security and service resource limits also apply. We do not bill automatic usage overages.

Renewals, cancellation and price changes

Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel through the Polar customer portal linked in your billing emails, or contact Polar at [email protected]. Scheduled cancellation stops the next renewal and preserves access through the current paid period, subject to remaining allowances. Cancellation does not itself request a refund or restart a trial. We will give advance notice of subscription price changes and obtain consent where required by law. Changes do not retroactively reduce an allowance already purchased.

Refund requests and their effect on access

To request a refund, report a billing mistake, or exercise a right of withdrawal, contact [email protected] or [email protected] with your order details. Refunds are processed through Polar and assessed under applicable law, its Buyer Terms and the circumstances of your request. Unused minutes do not automatically create a refund entitlement outside those rights. If a service problem prevents us from delivering your purchased allowance, contact us for a remedy, which may include restoring access or an appropriate refund.

A full refund ends paid speaking access for the refunded period. A partial refund reduces that period’s original minute allowance and service resource allowance in proportion to the subscription payment retained, excluding tax. Minutes already consumed remain counted against the reduced allowance; refunds do not reset usage or create another free trial. If the reduced allowance is already exhausted, further speaking stops for that period. These access adjustments do not determine the amount of a legally required refund or limit any statutory remedy.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights, including remedies for a service that is not supplied or does not conform to the contract, or rights to dispute a payment with your card issuer. EU consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online service contract. Starting a session does not by itself waive that right. Any lawful deduction for service supplied during that period requires the notices and express request required by applicable law; we do not automatically deduct our AI provider costs from a statutory refund. Mandatory rights take precedence over these terms and ordinary plan limits.

Availability

We aim to keep Outvo reliable, but availability depends on our own systems and third-party providers such as Supabase, Gemini, OpenRouter-compatible model providers, Polar.sh, and Cloudflare. The service is provided without uptime guarantees unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
